The Quite Peculiar and Irresistible Charm of Ellen Terry
Revival Production of "The Quite Peculiar and Irresistible Charm of Ellen Terry"
27 to 31 October 2009
"Ellen Terry - A Play", directed by Rob McIndoe, had a highly successful run at the Actors' Church, Covent Garden from 27 to 31 October.
In the atmospheric setting of Inigo Jones' church (the last resting place of Ellen Terry) and with excellent performances from the cast, the co-writers and producers were delighted with full houses, and even a well–timed appearance by the church cat.
Simon Gutteridge supplied breathtaking live musical accompaniment and audiences are now eagerly awaiting the Bonnington playwrights' next London production focussing on the early 20th century theatrical phenomenon, Lilian Baylis.
